NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani revealed what he\u2019d say to King Charles should he get the chance.<\/p>\n

The two were expected to cross paths during a ceremony at the 9\/11 memorial, but Mamdani had more on his mind.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, if I was to speak to the king separately from that, I would probably encourage him to return the Koh-i-Noor diamond,\u201d Mamdani told reporters, after claiming that he was primarily focused on the memorial event.<\/p>\n

The 105.6-carat Koh-i-Noor is set in the crown of the Queen Mother, which was also donned by Queen Elizabeth, wife of King George VI, and is believed to have originated in South India in the 13th century, Fox News<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n

It was reportedly confiscated by Britain during its annexation of the Punjab, at the signing of the Treaty of Lahore in 1849, according to Fox.<\/p>\n

Leftists on X bought Mamdani\u2019s claim hook, line, and sinker:<\/p>\n
