A university is pulling its transgender-focused training event after the state\u2019s governor made it clear that he will not stand for it.<\/p>\n

The story first came to light thanks to LibsofTikTok, which exposed an email from the University of Nebraska at Kearney advertising a voluntary \u201cHow Can I Move From Supporting to Empowering Trans-spectrum Students?\u201d workshop. According to the email, the event would \u201cprovide strategies and tools to help create a more inclusive classroom for transgender students\u201d by showing attendees \u201chow making small, inclusive adjustments to communicating with students will help them feel more comfortable, perform better academically, and grow personally.\u201d<\/p>\n

The post caught the attention of Nebraska\u2019s Republican Governor, Jim Pillen, who warned that such shenanigans may result in the school\u2019s funding being cut.<\/p>\n

This nonsense is completely irrelevant and destructive to the University of Nebraska\u2019s teaching mission, and out of touch with the values of the state it serves. University leaders must immediately root out this and all other similar programming across the entire system.<\/p>\n

If the University cannot police its own ranks and rid itself of the woke disease that has degraded so many \u2018elite\u2019 higher education institutions, it risks investigations, cuts to its funding, and, most importantly, the loss of the confidence of the people it serves,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t take long for the university to react by pulling the module, which Pillen celebrated on X.<\/p>\n
