White House Communications Director Steven Cheung got into an ugly social media spat with a Democratic staffer.<\/p>\n

It started with Sen. Mark Warner\u2019s, D-Virginia, communications director, Rachel Cohen, whining on X about Tricia McLaughlin being interviewed on CNN. In Cohen\u2019s view, it\u2019s unlikely McLaughlin had anything of value to say.<\/p>\n

WHY is CNN interviewing Tricia McLaughlin right now<\/p>\n

She is easily the most mendacious spokesperson I\u2019ve had the displeasure of encountering in 15 years of doing this. What could she POSSIBLY have to say that adds to viewers\u2019 understanding of anything??<\/p>\n
