Ben Shapiro responded to Sen. Bernie Sanders\u2019s condemnation of political violence and ended up sparring with Hasan Piker.<\/p>\n

It all started with Sanders reacting to the White House Correspondents\u2019 Dinner shooting, which many believe targeted the life of President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

A functioning democracy relies on the premise that people can express their political views freely without fear of being attacked or assassinated.<\/p>\n

Political violence is political cowardice. It is unacceptable in all forms.<\/p>\n

Shapiro responded to his post with a photo of Sanders and Piker together. Piker has been accused of spewing far-left extremist rhetoric against Republicans and Trump in particular. His radical progressive views are quite popular among leftist circles, but conservatives maintain that he is part of the problem when it comes to American division.<\/p>\n

Piker did not appreciate the insinuation of Shapiro\u2019s post, firing back with profanity.<\/p>\n
