Official accounts of the Democratic Party were likened to a \u201cpair of raging premenstrual\u201d girls after one deleted knock on acting Secretary of the U.S. Navy Hung Cao was followed by another.<\/p>\n

Last week, Secretary of the Navy John C. Phelan submitted his resignation<\/a> amid reports from multiple outlets that he had been fired. As Vietnam-born Cao stepped up from his role as undersecretary to fill the gap, the Democrats\u2019 account on X took heat for referring to the official as a \u201cclown\u201d after attempting to mock him as small.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrump dragged our country to war and now this clown is in charge,\u201d wrote the Democrats while sharing a post from sister account Fact Post that misrepresented past remarks, including a suggestion he be given a \u201cKKK hood with \u2018slit,’\u201d and emphasized his failed bid for the U.S. Senate instead of his career and credentials.<\/p>\n

The dig earned considerable criticism, including from Hot Air editor Beege Welborn, who shared the since-deleted post of Cao beside now-former Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) and wrote, \u201cOh, this is a YUGE improvement on the \u2018little d*ck\u2019 Xweet. You all keep going. You\u2019re doing great for a pair of raging premenstrual 13-year-old girls who hate everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n
