Widespread sentiments against \u201cpolitical violence\u201d belied the record of rhetoric from leading Democrats readily recirculated by the RNC following the latest assassination attempt against the president.<\/p>\n

In the wake of tragedies, leftists have often ripped those calling for thoughts and prayers, no matter the subsequent steps taken toward preventing future devastation. By contrast, despite past promises to lower the temperature, Democrats continue to demonize President Donald Trump, a point hammered home with receipts after yet another attempt on the chief executive\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

Among the top offenders, the Republican National Committee\u2019s RNC Research account on X called out House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), who, seemingly keenly aware of his and his colleagues\u2019 records, invoked the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, in a game of capturing the moral high ground.<\/p>\n

\u201cAmerica will not be lectured about civility by far-right extremists in Congress,\u201d insisted Jeffries. \u201cParticularly those who provide aid and comfort to hundreds of violent rioters who brutally beat police officers on January 6. There will be ample time to vigorously debate the issues of the day. Now is a time to unify.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, the RNC wondered,\u00a0\u201cWhy is it so hard for you to admit it\u2019s wrong to call for \u2018maximum warfare<\/a>\u2018 against President Trump and his administration?\u201d<\/p>\n

Similarly, the account turned to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), whose posted statement read, \u201cI am closely monitoring the unfolding situation at the White House Correspondents Dinner. I\u2019m grateful for the quick response of law enforcement and am praying everyone remains safe.\u201d<\/p>\n

What remains unsaid is anything resembling condemnation for the arrested suspect whose alleged manifesto made clear the intent to target the administration from highest rank to lowest: \u201cChuck Schumer has yet to condemn the radical Leftist who tried to assassinate President Trump and his administration last night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Having garnered national attention as a noted member of the so-called Seditious Six that promoted U.S. service members refusing to follow allegedly \u201cillegal orders,\u201d Michigan Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D) took time to condemn political violence in the country and expressed how she was \u201cgrateful that the President and all the guests\u201d at the dinner were safe without serious injury.<\/p>\n

Just last summer, she was on record describing Trump as an \u201cexistential threat to democracy,\u201d leading the RNC to assert, \u201cYour vile rhetoric is inciting violence against President Trump and Republicans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Likewise, California\u2019s leading Democratic gubernatorial candidate, Tom Steyer, made a statement against political violence with strong condemnation.<\/p>\n

Left out of his post was any reference to the chief executive who, while working on his own White House bid on the 2020 campaign trail, said his need to impeach Trump began after comparing the first administration to Nazis.<\/p>\n

Democrat Governors Tim Walz of Minnesota and J.B. Pritzker of Illinois were similarly called out for tepid statements on violence, as they too referred to Trump as \u201cfascist to his core,\u201d comparing the nation under him to Nazi Germany. These remarks, among others, found social media asserting with certainty how they view the leftists responding to anything they disagree with.<\/p>\n
