This explains a lot.<\/p>\n

Viral video of a girl being viciously attacked by a 14-yr-old boy after she allegedly refused to give him her phone number sparked widespread outrage when it made the rounds on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The clip that was widely shared before it was seemingly taken off the internet showed a masked boy, 14, approach a 15-yr-old classmate in an Upper Manhattan neighborhood on Monday.<\/p>\n

According to the girl\u2019s mother, Lucinda Arroyo, the boy had been harassing her daughter for weeks at school before the violent encounter, and she is lucky to be alive after the attack.<\/p>\n

After several attempts to get her attention and reportedly her phone number, the boy repeatedly blocks her path as she allegedly told him to \u201cget the f\u2013k\u201d away from her. He responded by picking her up (judging from the video and photos, she is a very small-framed girl) and body slamming her into the pavement before stomping on her head.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s very upset that her whole life has been completely flipped upside down right now,\u201d the mom told the New York Post in an exclusive interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not even bullying; this is outright assault. And he could have killed her,\u201d she continued, telling the Post that her daughter will not be going back to her school where the boy is known to be \u201cbad news.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for the boys\u2019 mother, Selma Allen, \u2026 she thinks her violent son is not the \u201cbully.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was being a bully to him, that\u2019s it,\u201d Allen told The Post, who described her son as a \u201cquiet\u201d and \u201chumble Christian\u201d who \u201cdoesn\u2019t provoke nobody.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s been complaining about her. I bring it to the principal\u2019s attention but he don\u2019t address it. The way my son is being bullied, he doesn\u2019t want to go to school.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s retaliation because she pushed him first,\u201d Allen said, telling the Post that she has additional video to prove it, but didn\u2019t share the alleged video.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe don\u2019t provoke nobody. But if you provoke him, he will lash out,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Arroyo\u2019s daughter, who woke up in the ambulance after the attack, was left with \u201ca concussion, bleeding, a potential brain injury, crushing headaches and a twisted neck,\u201d she told the Post, adding that her daughter will need \u201congoing physical therapy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Plenty of X users weren\u2019t surprised by the enabling response from the suspect\u2019s mother:<\/p>\n
