Fox News host Greg Gutfeld and Jessica Tarlov locked horns in a fiery exchange on \u201cThe Five\u201d over the federal indictment of the nonprofit Southern Poverty Law Center.<\/p>\n

Tarlov argued that America has a \u201cwhite supremacy problem\u201d despite what some are saying, and seemed not to understand why the Justice Department announced an 11-count indictment against the SPLC. As the debate escalated with an argument that the 2017 \u201cUnite the Right\u201d event in Charlottesville, Va., \u201cwas a psy-op,\u201d Gutfeld did not hold back.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut the indictment itself is being spun by people who want to argue what you are arguing, Jesse\u2014that we just all love each other and we don\u2019t have a white supremacy problem, that it\u2019s manufactured, that these hate crimes were staged, that right-wing protests were fake,\u201d Tarlov argued. \u201cJust because one informant within the organization that put together the \u2018Unite the Right\u2019 rally was being paid by the SPLC, does not mean it was fake. Hundreds of white supremacists showed up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gutfeld just ripped Jessica Tarlov to shreds on The Five about the SPLC. She\u2019s still claiming the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville was completely real and organic, even though it\u2019s been proved the whole thing was funded.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat doesn\u2019t mean it was all fake. It\u2019s true somewhere that that\u2019s the argument. Whenever there is a hate crime hoax,\u201d Gutfeld said before his liberal co-host interrupted to demand, \u201cWhat hate crime hoax?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJussie Smollett, anyone? How about the banana peel on the bench? How about the noose at the racetrack?\u201d Gutfeld replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat hoax have you actually seen here?\u201d Tarlov demanded. \u201cYou don\u2019t think hundreds of people showed up at the \u2018Unite the Right\u2019 rally who weren\u2019t this informant or persuaded by whatever vehicle got them there?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou think there weren\u2019t white supremacists there? That it\u2019s not real?\u201d she continued. \u201cThree Percenters, Oathkeepers, Proud Boys. You think they\u2019re all fake?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAll I know is I never heard of it until the day that it happened. You act like you can take the word for a bunch of corrupt people,\u201d Gutfeld replied, speaking of the Charlottesville rally.<\/p>\n

As Tarlov continued to rant about how \u201cwhite supremacists are real.\u201d Gutfeld delivered a truth bomb.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, there is probably a bigot somewhere\u2014but you guys created this \u2018false flag\u2019 that there was an immense white supremacist movement going on in this country, and that put targets on people like Charlie Kirk\u2019s back, and he\u2019s dead now. And a lot of other people were either threatened or physically attacked because of a false flag, which basically painted millions of people as \u2018white supremacists.\u2019 You guys ran with it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope that this thing mends, but I don\u2019t know, because there are people like you, Jessica, who have such a sunk cost in this belief\u2014a belief you were tricked into believing\u2014that there is always all these racists hiding behind every Cracker Barrel,\u201d Gutfeld continued.<\/p>\n
