Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light, announced on Wednesday a $600 million investment into \u201cU.S. operations.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnheuser\u2011Busch is doubling down on investing in our U.S. operations because we see strong, long-term growth opportunities right here at home,\u201d Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth told Fox Business<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we invest in our U.S. operations and expand training for our people and opportunities for our veterans, we strengthen communities and drive real economic prosperity. This $600 million investment is about advancing American manufacturing, strengthening our supply chain, and creating lasting careers and a brighter future for U.S. workers,\u201d\u00a0 he added.<\/p>\n

Part of the brand\u2019s ongoing Brewing Futures initiative, this project will also involve launching 15 new training centers.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe centers will offer employees advanced training to upskill their capabilities, from technical fundamentals and digital tools to management systems and mechanical and electrical systems,\u201d according to an Anheuser\u2011Busch press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough this expansion, Anheuser-Busch plans to upskill more than 90% of its manufacturing workforce over the next five years, building on the more than 2,700 employees who have already received training since the opening of its initial best-in-class Technical Excellence Center in St. Louis in 2022,\u201d the press release continues.<\/p>\n

Anheuser-Busch also intends to expand its partnerships with technical trade schools \u201cto strengthen its talent pipeline and create clear pathways for careers in American manufacturing.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition, the brand plans to continue its work with the Manufacturing Institute\u2019s \u201cHeroes MAKE America\u201d initiative, providing \u201cformer and current service members with resources to pursue careers in manufacturing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anheuser-Busch is also moving forward with the adoption of the\u00a0Heroes MAKE America Talent Network, powered by SmartResume.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a \u201cjointly developed platform designed to make military skills and experience visible, verified, and easily understood by employers.\u201d<\/p>\n

The company has embedded the tool into its career support website \u201cto support veteran hiring and guide candidates through the application process \u2013 driving strong engagement.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnheuser-Busch\u2019s expanded investment is a commitment to the American worker and the future of our nation\u2019s strength in manufacturing,\u201d National Association of Manufacturers President and CEO Jay Timmons said in a statement. \u201cBy partnering with the Manufacturing Institute, Anheuser-Busch is powering a new generation of opportunity for the world\u2019s finest workforce\u2014the manufacturing workforce.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThese local technical skills training centers and partnerships with trade schools will transform careers and enable the manufacturing workforce of today and tomorrow to develop the critical skills they need to build life-changing careers, grow our economy, and shape American communities,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
